Ella Fitzgerald graduated from University College Dublin in 2008. Following equine and small animal internships at UCD and Davies Veterinary Specialists, she completed her residency at the Royal Veterinary College London. After her residency, she stayed at the RVC as a clinician and lecturer and was Board-certified in 2018. She spent a short period in private practice before returning to Ireland in 2020. She is currently working as a teleradiologist for Antech Imaging Services. She also works remotely for the imaging department at the Royal veterinary College where she is involved in resident supervision and student teaching. In addition, she provides sonography service for the local first opinion practices.
